Quote requests through the form, 24/7

Start a reservation: request a river stay quote 24/7

This page is where you request a river stay quote 24/7, whether you are planning a spring weekend on the Pedernales or three summer nights on the Frio. Our Austin office reads every request, asks the lodge, inn or cabin resort whether your nights are open, and writes back with one quote.

Sending the form costs nothing and holds nothing. Nights are reserved in your name only after you have read the quote and told us yes.

What do you want the water for?

Sending this costs nothing and holds nothing. The form is open 24/7; the written answer follows the office times shown below.

How to fill in each part of the request

Start with what you want the water for: a cold, clear swim, floating or paddling, a quiet bank with a porch, or not sure yet. It tells us whether a spring-fed river or a rain-fed one fits your dates. Then pick a stay from the list, grouped by river, or choose "help me choose" and let us suggest one.

Give the month you hope to arrive, the number of adults, and how many nights on the slider (two to six). Your name and email are needed for the reply; a phone number is up to you. The note box goes to the lodge with your request, so use it for anything they should know.

Timing of the answer: a request that reaches us by 1 p.m. Central on a Tuesday through Saturday gets a written reply by 4 p.m. that same day. One that arrives later, or on a Sunday or Monday, is answered in writing by 4 p.m. on the next of those days.

From a sent form to nights held at the lodge

Once the form is in, the work follows one fixed order.

  1. We ask the lodging business whether those dates are free.
  2. You receive one written quote naming the lodge, the nights, the price for those dates with hotel tax shown on its own line, and the lodge's own cancellation terms.
  3. You answer yes in writing; replying to that email is enough.
  4. We ask the lodge to hold the nights in your name, and the lodge sends you its own confirmation.
  5. You pay the lodge directly, on its terms and schedule.
  6. You drive out and check in at the lodge's front desk.

Trip reason, head count and seven more fields, held 24 months

The form takes only what a quote needs: your reason for the trip, the stay, the month, the head count, the nights, your name, your email, a phone number if you add one, and your note. Payment happens later and directly between you and the lodge, on its own terms, after you say yes. You pay our office nothing.

Your request travels to us through an outside form-delivery service, and we keep it for 24 months before deleting it. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. For how the from figure is put together, see the pricing page, and for changes after you say yes, read the cancellation terms.
